my mom & i went and checked out the new dick blick in portland last week.
beautiful store.
prices didn't seem to be quite as nice as online.
not to mention they were out of stock on a lot of items.
i think i will stick to ordering online & hitting the store only for art supply emergencies.

ahhhh. there's nothing quite like a fresh pile of goodness to get you going!

spent the day just messing around and trying to find myself again.

can i just say... i LOVE painting. i LOVE color. i LOVE doodling!


and just an fyi... this blog is sick awesome! (IMHO)

love those canvases you have started!!! you made me feel better saying you will be ordering online instead of going to the Dick Blick store.....i live in the Bahamas and have no Dick Blick, Michaels etc......so i have to order EVERYTHING online :) i got excited the other day cuz our little teeny weeny office supply store have big packs of sharpie markers. i'm kinda addicted to them :)

I love love to see your process of painting so thank you when you post pictures of the stages you go through. Have you ever considered recording yourself painting a canvas from start to finish and then speed it up really fast to post online. It would be amazing to see!

Loved going shopping with you but totally agree... online is the way to go since we still had to order what they didn't have... but it was a fun time and thanks again for the pastry and coffee! Love what you're working on... and love that you love color... you brighten up the world my dear!!
