art journal pages & getting warmed up

it's been so long since i've painted on canvas i feel like i'm having to learn to paint all over again.
the art journal is my perfect place to work out the cobwebs and loosen up.

my mom said i needed to check out this guys blog on leadership etc. (michael hyatt).
isn't this vintage lady super cute, i got her off a pattern of some sort.

the contrast of these two pages is making me laugh.
i didn't even realize it while in the throes of creating.
the "make me sick" part is my own battle with letting yummy food WIN. once again.
ugh. ugh. ugh.

Oh, you´re so good at journaling! I never do anything in my art-journal anymore. It´s bad, cause when it becomes too rare, you kind of don´t know what to do in there, and you postpone it even longer, and it gets even harder to do! Bummer. Good thing I have inspiring friends! Yay! You´re the best!

i'm thinking i need to start an art journal, that's a new area for me. love seeing the snippets of yours! oh and right now i'm downloading the free life plan from that michael hyatt fellow. :)

I love your journal pages! They are always so beautiful and colorful. Personally, I have given up on journaling (of that kind) due to my inability to simplify!! LOL Every page I tackle becomes something akin to a complete painting and then I feel trapped because it's in a book! I know...I'm crazy! Thanks for sharing those pages of inspiration!
