I'd love to know what you used on the background - glazes, chalks, stamps, stencils, stencil brushes? I'm fascinated by the layers, how the entire process/every stage is visible in some way somewhere on the surface. I really, really like this!!

hi Kimberly!
for the background i pretty much just used acrylic paints. i dont generally use stamps or stencils. i love the effect they give, i just never end up using them.
ill water down my acrylics to create a bit of glazing effect but i dont use glaze. i should try it! it would probably be easier!
i do have some paints that are less opaque that also give that look.
