well, this is cyclocross.
and these are the Cross Crusades here in Portland, OR.
with over 250 women participating!
yes, that is me on the left.
my 2nd cross race EVER.
my hubs assured me that "cross" is FUN!
this is him on the right in blue.
if 45 minutes of being completely anaerobic and muddy is "fun"...
then i can honestly say it's a BLAST!
i'm not used to working this hard.
pushing my body to the edge.
wanting to give up.
fighting mentally.
but, when that 45 minutes is up.
it sure feels good.
accomplished.
cyclocross is empowering.
invigorating.
exciting.
That looks like FUN. Crazy, but fun.
I may never complain about mud again.

I've never heard of cyclocross, but we have something here in Fl called Muddy Buddy that I'm going to be doing in May. You do it with partners. One person is on a bike one is running. You go through obstacles. Theres water, mud, everything. Very cool. http://muddy-buddy.competitor.com/what-is-muddy-buddy/ I can't wait! Looks kinda like the same thing.

You look like one mean, lean fighting machine, and I wouldn´t want to enter a dare with you or meet you in a dark alley at night!
You must be one of the toughest women I know! The other one skied across Greenland.
