the beginnings...
last weekend was filled with:
- art journaling with my momma
- lots of ski racing
- dark chocolate-covered pretzels
- crisp juicy apples
- new friends
- old friends
- family
- and a little vino
the progression... and the diet soda and chocolate. a very important part!
added skiing body and hand lettering.
additional misc. musings about the weekend and the wedding shower we had for Katy, my friend/coworker, at The Circuit.

I LOVE being your momma... I LOVED hanging with you and your family for the weekend... LOVED arting with you... LOVED watching Jess race and win... loved that she jumped almost 59 feet!!! And I LOVED watching you and Gary work with her through the pain of losing the last race and seeing her come out with a great attitude... good parenting you guys!!

(squeeeeeal!) Your page is gorgeous! I love how you showed the different stages - sometimes it's very mysterious how a page goes from blank to amazing. And you're much braver than I am - I love the first layer so much that I don't know if I would have covered it up. You're making me feel very adventurous, though. Thanks for sharing!!
