I just wanted to do a little bragging on my oldest daughter. If you don't mind...
She just recently turned 14 and is still considerate, kind, helpful and loving. Praise God!
She tends to have her own style completely. She's gone from wearing different patterned bandannas to school every day in 6th grade, that is until they banned them due to being "gang related". I still can't see what a pink polka dotted bandanna has to do with ANY gang, but oh well, it just opened the door to her next fashion statement. Which was knee high socks of all colors and patterns in 7th grade. This year she's onto this pile of friendship bracelets. I think she told me she has 28 of them!
I cherish her individuality and her gutsiness to not be like everyone else.
If you HAPPEN to read this Lex-I LOVE YOU and I'm so proud of you!
What a lovely post! I remember friendship bracelets. I used to make them all the time when I was in 7th&8th grade. =D

Oh, my ! She is fantastic ! I want to be her when I grown down. ;-)
She obviously has an artistic eye like her mama. It will take her wonderful places, won't it ?
Happy Saturday !

Anyone remember the bands we used to make from chewing gum wrappers? !!! That probably does date me back to the middle ages! Your daughter is lovely with a Mom who lets her find out who she is. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful (bands and daughter).
