April and I both fell in love with the "art journaling" concept at Artfest. This is her on the ferry back to Seattle after the retreat was over. She did a great post today on some of the supplies she's using and some of her journal pages.
Here are a couple of my Artfest journal pages. What I'm loving about creating in this way is that I feel such a sense of freedom in it. I'm not creating it to "sell it", I'm creating it for pure enjoyment and experimentation!
I'm toying with the idea of doing a little faux workshop at my studio. Am I crazy?!
No you are not crazy I will come...oh wait I live 2000 miles away now. :-0

WOW... I live a long ways away too but like Beckie would be there in spirit anyway... that's what it's all about. Oh wait. That's the Hokey Pokey.
Beautiful post, Michelle. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Michelle, I would love it if you would do a journal class. I just got back from Art & Soul in Virginia and took a couple there but I would love to meet the people here in this area who do this kind of art. Maybe even start an art group that meets regularly if the class is interesteed?
I love your blog BTW, Teri
