After about 2 hours of waiting for my mom and dad to finish packing,
and us goofing off,
we finally left!! We then set off to enjoy the awesome scenery that God created! I'll admit that at first I had no desire what so ever to go see the giant red wood trees, but when I actually saw them and how huge they were, I changed my mind. But before I show you pictures of the red wood trees, I'll show you some of the things we did on the way. My sister and I watched 2 movies together and then she watched 3 more, while I read the Left Behind (the kid) books.
And we stopped for a lot of coffee at various places like the Dutch Bros...
We stopped to stretch our legs above the water front.
We saw Paul Bunyan and his ox Babe.
And here is Jess and me on his shoe.
And we had to stop at an ice cream place, so we stopped at this cute place called Bon Boniere.
Then we finally made it to the Avenue of the Giants where the red woods are.
Some of these trees have a diameter of 40 feet!!
Most little cars can drive through this tree and we would have made it but my dad's bike was on top of our Subaru.
After seeing the trees we headed to my Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Sid's house. We stopped at Healdsburg. We ate lunch at H.B.G. and it was amazing how quick they served our food!
We made our way to some cute shops:
Crossed the Golden Gate Bridge.
And even played some cards in the car!
Then we made it to my Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Sid's house, where we soon left to get some fruits and veggies from Farmers Market.
The person above is my grandma Sharon (as you probably already guessed).
Those are some kind of broccoli (I think Italian) and the little yellow things are baby squash. And we convinced mom to let us have a crepe with Nutella in it and it tasted so good!!
Then my Uncle Mark and my Uncle David came over to have dinner with us.
Uncle David, me, and Jessica
Dad, Uncle David, and Uncle Mark
My Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Sid. Grandma Sharon found some cool white masks, so we put them on posed for some pictures and walked around the block with them on. Jessica waved at people, but I wasn't brave enough to do that!

Me and Grandma Sharon
Mom... The next three are of me and Jessica.
Then we went to Santa Cruz to go shopping and see some beach for about 5 whole minutes.
Oh yeah and Jess ate an icey, slushy thing that was blue. :)
We said our goodbyes to everyone and then did nothing but eat, drive, sleep at a hotel and go home!! And that was the end of our 5 day trip but not the end of the 5th day because about 3 hours after we got home, we headed to Portland, OR and ran at a track meet. I got third place in the 100, which was awesome considering the other contestants were either 14 or 15 and were almost a foot taller than me. The bummer about getting third place was the fact that there was only three people, including me. It was really cool to see how many people of all different ages came on Tuesday night. We met up with some friends and Jessica ran with her friends Savannah and Emma.
Wow!! I can't believe that school is already over!! I am kind of happy because I get to go on some trips and see some family, but then again I am really sad and I miss all my friends from school. I don't have any pictures of me or my family right now so you will just have to settle with some of my cousin Mats graduating from 8th grade!

I can't believe that that will be me next year except since I live in Washington my graduation ceremony will most likely be inside so we don't get wet!! Well we are off on a road trip in a couple minutes so I will post more pictures and awesome stuff when I get back!
Hi everyone! Long time no talk..... again! Sorry! I have been pretty busy with school and church and all kinds of things lately. My dad spent a week in New Jersey doing bicycle races. The day after my dad got home, my mom left to San Diego to run the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon! While my mom was gone, I went to a church auction to help out with child care and other stuff. The whole point of the auction was to raise money for Great Escape, the high school summer camp and Grit, the middle school summer camp (5th-8th grade). This year's Grit is going to be so awesome!! We get to sleep in cabins (instead of tents), do paintball, skateboarding, rock climbing, motocross, the high ropes course, and THE BLOB!!
In church the last two weeks we have been going over the Bible. The first week we went over Genesis and the second week we went over Exodus through Judges. And let me remind you that we have about an hour in church! We have also been challenged to memorize "The Bible in 50 Words," which goes like this:

Hi everyone!! I just thought that you might like to see my grandma Sharon and my cousin Mats. They live in California and my uncle Mark was out of town so Mats hung out with our grandma and grandpa (Sid). They took a trip to visit an aircraft carrier called the Hornet.
And that is the cute pic of them near the Hornet!!
