It's Not Snow in Those Mountains!

It may look like snow off in the distance, and yes we ride to the very top of it before the day is done.  Another short day at 58 miles but we do another long series of climbs to get there.

An hour and a half into the climb and we are getting closer.  Can you tell what it is yet?  Looks like a glacier.  HMMM

Okay cats out of the bag, here it is.  Giant slabs of granite getting cut out of the mountain.  The climbing was a good tempo and we all get to the top together.  The downhill is fast and we have to go through long tunnels that are pitch black, we couldn't even see our own bikes.
