It's that time of year again. You would think that by now I would have figured out how to pack for Italy, but it still took me 6 hours to get it all in so none of it was over 50lbs. I am now in NJ with the Team captain and owner of Liberty Cycle, Greg Cordasco and his family. We will be heading to Italy at 3pm tomorrow. We will be flying into Milano and driving to Lago d'Iseo, check into the hotel, put the bikes together and do an 80 mile ride around the lake. It will be interesting to see how I stack up against the Elite guys from the East side this year. I am coming into this trip with one more year of good racing in me and I am down 8 pounds from last year. I am hope the weight difference will help me up some of the 28% grades that make Italy so much fun. There will be many more pics to follow, so stay tuned!
Hey Gary have a great trip... Sorry training camp. There is no better way to see Italy than on a bike. Vesper comes in a close second. Believe me it is harder to walk a vesper up a 30% gradient than a push bike. Enjoy the food, the scenery and the people. Looking forward to reading your posts.
