this and that - is the excuse.

i totally can not believe it's been almost a MONTH since i blogged last!
i'm sorry. i didn't even say goodbye.
maybe that's because i had no intention of leaving you for that long.
it just happened. :(

we're still trying to get squared away in the new location.
it's been a lot more work than i had anticipated.
along with A LOT more money. ugh.

my youngest (11) started at a new school.
this was what she looked like on the first day.
all glammed up.
since then it's been tennies, shorts and a t-shirt.

this piece is from a few months back.
i haven't had any time for art and it's killing me!
i am looking forward to getting back into and finding my muse again!

i've missed you.
thank you to all of you who have emailed or commented asking where i've been.
it's nice to know that i was missed. :)

Your daughter is just adorable! I LOVE the new art too. I literally thought about you all day a couple weeks ago as I took all my AD art down and packed it up to move. We are staging our house to sell it and plain white vases with gray walls are boring! Ok it's pretty but so not me. :)

Congrats on your new studio... your dad says it's looking great! Can't wait to see it for myself. Congrats to Jess on her style and new school... you're a good mom. I love reading your posts and seeing your fabulous art, so of course you were missed! :) But, there is a lot going on - and it is tough to always fit it all in! Your daughter looked darling for her first day - I hope she has a great year! They grow up so fast don't they? Sigh. Have a wonderful rest of the week!!
