last week our little art journaling group met.
the topic of discussion was how to organize your art supplies for travel.
as you can see, these two women, Teri and her niece Janene, are the queens of this mantra!
i *need* one of these little watercolor packs!
you can even swap out the colors to customize your palette.
Janene used those sweet little paint by number containers and filled them with her acrylics of choice. another morsel of wisdom she shared... always take things out of their original packaging. that pesky packaging tends to take up too much room.
this is some pretty cool stuff. it's a pack of concentrated water color sheets.
i'm enough of realist to know that this is probably a bit beyond me.
if i could only adopt a few of their methods. it may help me escape from my current 'large handled paper bag' i end up pitching everything in minutes before dashing out the door!
speaking of door... the sun is shining and a run is calling my name!

OMG! The paint by number containers are GENIUS!! I've been trying to figure out how to haul my acrylic paints for a LONG time. I'm off tomorrow to get some of those containers!! Thanks for the idea.

Those days of the week pill boxes are great, too. You can cut a tiny piece of felt to fit the inner lid and keep that damp to help prevent the paints from drying out.

Really like their containers and that watercolor pack looks interesting.
I like to use the peerless water colors on photographs.
God Bless You and Yours!!!

Ladies, what great ideas you come up with, I am looking for the little plastic collaspible water cups that come with lids. I thought would be ideal for throwing in a travel bag for acrylic & water paint brushes, but am having trouble finding them. Any ideas?
