For my mom's birthday present this year I took her to Portland for a workshop led by the uber talented Lisa Kaus. Lisa's studio was a fanciful wonderland of goodness, forcing us into inspiration!
This photo doesn't really show off the detail in our finished pieces. I'll have to take a few pics tomorrow showing the delicious detail. I'm sure my mom will have pictures on her blog too!
The night before the workshop I found out my friend Lani had just so happened to have also signed up for this workshop!
A couple of the other gals... I'm so bad with names!
This was such a great day. Everyone, about 9 of us, ended up with beautiful, finished, unique pieces of art ready to hang. Thanks Lisa for a great day and the yummy fajitas!
Since this is the second time I had to write this post (Safari ate the first one!) I'm out of time. Better get to bed to be able to start my Monday off on the right foot. This must be a PRODUCTIVE week for me. Lot's of deadlines! Maybe I should start that "eating better" thing too!
