Bird Girl Painting
Here's a small canvas I finished the other day. I haven't dialed in a title for her yet, so if you have any name ideas please feel free to pass them on. I love how her wings imply her strength.
I did my first Mock Workshop (practice workshop) last night. I'm too tired right now to do a post on it but I do have pictures to show and tell.
Hope you're doing well. That you're not burdened down by others expectations of you. Sometimes I just feel like you can't live up no matter how hard you try. There are days where I seem to let someone down every time I turn around. I encountered this rut in my gut at least three times today! ugh.
So, tomorrow... I'm going to ride my bicycle and go golfing! Maybe I'll even shut my cell off... probably not.

This is so beautiful!!! I love it! I have a quote that I have to live by to survive... ~ I AM WHO I AM ~ Basically which means for me, I do the best I can do every single day and if it is not good enough for someone else... that is not a burden that I can carry. Life is too short to try to live up to others expectations. You know what you can achieve each and every day! I don't know if it is about hitting the age of 45 but things just don't matter as much anymore. I wish I had learned this lesson much earlier!

love the painting! oh how i wish we were able to meet everyone's expectations. the only one that really matters is what God thinks of us! and He thinks we are great! maybe i wouldn't care about other's expectations as much if i didn't have so many myself - ugh! enjoy your day.

Adirel for your bird girl is an idea.
Meaning Congragation of God. You know there is strength in numbers.
Plus I see compassion and unconditional love in her eyes.
Yeah, Turn that Cell phone off.
What did we do without cell phones
in the past? I think we probably had
more time for some peace and quite.

Love the painting! Miss Whirly Bird is what came to my mind, not so great either. When you aren't meeting other people's expectations just tell them, "life's hard, then you die."

How bout "Tweetly fortified by love"
cuz she sure is tweet! :) lol
Hope you were able to shut off all the "noise" Michelle! And tune into the music within you - we ALL have to give ourselves time to regenerate, and time with God!

Oh Michelle I just love her!!!! She's wonderful! I was racking my brain trying to think of some other name suggestions other than the ones already mentioned, but I'm totally drawing a blank at the moment. It's getting a little too late for coherent thought. LOL!
Ooo and you're gonna be teaching??? That's so awesome!!! Can't wait to hear all about your practice workshop!!!
And I know all too well about not living up to others expectations....unfortunately it's an almost daily occurrence. I just keep telling myself (and everyone else) that I'm only one person and I can only do so much.
xo,
Paulette

Turn it off...turn it off!! Course all my friends who can never get a hold of me might have a different opinion... Love the birdy girl. Her hair reminds me of someone in one of your journal pages. Can't wait until next weekend!

Oh Michelle, the Bird Girl is fantastic!!! I totally love her and also how you have her in your banner now. It so suits the spirit of this blog. I think of you as having wings. The colours are great.
Keep up the good work!
