We just returned from a week down in San Diego meeting up with friends from New Jersey, Boise and our friend Steve who has a place in SD. I think we're trying to make up for all the missed vacations in the early years of our business!
It was my husband's birthday while we were down there. On a whim we had a few other friends, from our past bicycle shop days, over to Steve's for dinner to celebrate.
I've been having trouble running due to some sciatica issues so Ingrid and I borrowed some bikes and went riding on the beautiful North County coastline.
Of course when I saw Linda's Yogurt in Carlsbad we just had to stop!
The kids spent at least 5 hours in the pool every day. More if we would have let them!
Made it down to the beach there in Del Mar. The water was warm and the sand was hot.
Of course the kids had a fantastic time!

We had a great active-vacation. The guys rode their bikes every day. Ingrid and I rode several days and ran on some killer trails down in the canyon near the house and the kids had the pool!
Thank you Steve for being so hospitable and letting us crash your pad! (twice in one year! : )
Wow... you lucky gal. Looks like you and your fam had an incredible time! I think I need to find some friends in San Diego:)

My gosh girl! I cannot keep up with you! You sure know how to enjoy the summer! Glad you and the family are having such fun! Can't blame the kids for wanting to stay the pool...it is gorgeous!
